Direction of my life

It has been a while since I've written . I have been so busy I just don't have the time anymore that I used to . Soccer is over in two weeks and I signed both boys up for basketball which started a week ago . Insanity is all I know these days , My life is extremely centered on my children as it should be . They are my life and they are the most important job I do . As I raise them I realize so many things about my own childhood and I see the direction I need to take with them . My older son is headstrong and dislikes being told what to do he fights me at every turn. He has insecurities that I am partly to blame for . I don't always know the right thing to say to him , things sometimes come out wrong and hurt him , he is extremely sensitive and he often takes things the wrong way . I have come to the realization that he is exactly like me , I was the same way at his age and continued on that way for many years . I try to build his confidence in himself all the time , I try to teach him to be honest at all costs but I don't always get through but I never give up with him . He is thick headed like both his parents. Most importantly I just love him and show him that all the time .
Patrick made his Communion last Sunday and the day was perfect , he did perfect and he looked so handsome , I had a party at the house after and a few friends came and my family . Anthony also came ; my guy :) The weather was great , and Anthony My son had a soccer game that afternoon and him and his team kicked butt , my whole family came out to cheer him on at the soccer field which was awesome , it ended up to be a super day .
I am taking my GED in two weeks I am so excited I have been waiting for this since February , I am a little nervous but I am confident that I will pass but if I don't thats ok too because I will keep trying until I do but I don't want to get ahead of myself , I live life a day at a time . I am convinced I will pass which means I will .
Not much else to say here , glad the weather is warm , another summer is approaching I am expecting alot of good times this year .
